i was very fond of mark. he tried to sell me to marvel and dc comics as a female writer, pitching with the fact that women’s attendance was growing exponentially at comic conventions, but marvel’s and dc’s writers were still primarily male. a chain of events, including mark havering between the two companies and me moving to canada meant it never came off.  but i still have 2 cracking scripts from that time (the authority, the ultimates, marvel knights spider-man, ultimate four, civil war, wanted, kick-ass)
